Dad to our
son Cal

Becoming a dad has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. We lost both of our dogs within a week of his birth, so his arrival was truly a godsend for our entire family and helped us through an incredibly difficult time. His joy, laughter, and infectious personality have a way of making everyone around him a little happier.

Landscape Photography

have been taking landscape photos since I was little, and photography has always been one of my favorite ways to experience the outdoors. I try to capture a scene as naturally as possible and portray what the human eye sees.

Astronomy Photography

One of my favorite hobbies is astro photography. I love getting outside after dark and trying to capture what the eye sees, and what it can’t see, when the stars come out. Using layerd multiple exposures, I create an composit image of what the eye sees and beyond.

Former Competitive &
Professional Freestyle Skier

I grew up competeing on the Alpine Weadows, US Freeskiing, and FIS ski teams in mouguls, big air, slopestyle, and halfpipe disciplines. I among many wins, including an X-games qualifier, I won gold at the Junior Olympics in 2003 for Big Air and brones in halfepipe.

Backcountry
Snowmobiling

I love exploring the mountians on my snowmobile. From California to Idaho and Oregon, I have snowmobiling various mountain ranges around the west, including one of my favorite places just north of Yosemite.

Going
Surfing

Getting out in the water always an adventure. I started surfing in Santa Cruz and have surfed in Mexico, Hawaii, and Southern California. I love the workout it provides and the serenity of it when you are out in the surf.

Playing & Competing
in Golf

I love golfing when I can. I love exploring new courses and especially ones with great views in amazing places. Every now and then I will compete in a northern California amatures league and I enjoy the heightened state of competition that comes with it.

Fly/All Fishing

I love fishing of all kinds but fly fishing is one of my favorite forms. It take knowledge, patience, skill, and agility sometimes to be above to catch a fish in various rivers and lakes. I like it more then just sitting back and waiting for a bite.
